3 Diamond Rings Reported Stolen: Haddonfield Police

Thieves hit the 800 block of Cedar Ave., as well.

Three diamond rings were reported stolen from a home in the unit block of Gill Road on Feb. 6, Haddonfield police said.

A resident returned to home shortly after 8 p.m. and reported the burglary. The home was entered through a pried-open, rear window. After police left the scene, the resident reported the three rings missing.

Two incidents of theft were reported in the 800 block of Cedar Ave. Thursday. A 7-inch tablet computer and keyboard were reported stolen from a home at 9:45 a.m. The responding officer then took another complaint from a neighbor about an ATM bank card that was discovered missing from a dining-room table after the bank notified the victim of attempted fraudulent charges.

A burglary attempt was reported on Feb. 7 at 10:54 a.m. in the unit block of Heritage Road. A resident reported finding two screens removed from a rear window and pry marks on a back door. Police said the home was not entered.

Is there somewhere where reports of burglaries are posted sooner? It would be nice to know when homes are being robbed entirely too close to my house. You know, so that I can make sure my GAU-8 is loaded and can respond accordingly if need be.
