English Gardener Gift Shop Moving

The popular gift shop will be moving next door.

Haddonfield's The English Gardener Gift Shop will be moving from 125 Kings Highway East next door to a larger location at 123.

The shop is co-owned by Gary Coleman, a longtime Haddonfield resident who was born in England to American and British parents and brought some of the old country back to the new.

"We offer a distinctive selection of British foods, pub decor and gifts for the home and garden," The English Gardener website says. "We carry Barbarian rugby jerseys and licensed Guinness apparel, along with a large assortment of teas, sweets and biscuits from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales."

Coleman also owns The British Chip Shop, across Kings Highway from The English Gardener and a new bar and restaurant in Philadelphia, the Victoria Freehouse.

I love that shop. And the owner of course had a great part in Different Strokes.
