Haddonfield Native Honored for Black History Month [Video]

Rev. Anthony Talton of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Haddonfield receives Black History Month proclamation from borough commissioners on Feb. 12, 2013.

The Rev. Anthony Talton accepted a proclamation for Black History Month from the borough Board of Commissioners on Tuesday.

Talton, 40, a 1990 graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School, is the pastor of Mount Olivet Baptist Church in the borough. The church is in a historically black section of this borough that is 95 percent white. It is one of the oldest black communities in South Jersey.
