Haddonfield Olympic Hopeful Out After Semi-Finals

Greta Feldman's time in the 1500 meters at the Olympic trials didn't qualify her to move on to the final race.

Two seconds go by in a literal flash, usually not long enough to change the course of anything. Unless you're trying to make the U.S. Olympic track team.

Unfortunately for Haddonfield's Greta Feldman, two seconds kept her off of the team and away from the London 2012 games next month.

Feldman, a Princeton University student, came in 18th in the women's 1500-meter semi-final race at the Olympic Trials in Eugene, OR, on Friday. The top 12 finishers will move on to the final race.

Feldman clocked a time of 4:12:29, putting her 11th in her heat of 12 runners. The top finisher, Morgan Uceny, ran a 4:09:90, while the bottom qualifier ran a 4:10:73.

Already an all-American, NCAA champion and Ivy League champion, Feldman qualified for the semi-finals by running a 4:14:89 in the 1500 preliminaries.
