Haddonfield Police: Alleged Bike Thief Caught

Duane Russell Moore of Camden was arrested for reportedly stealing a bike in Haddonfield.

A 42-year-old Camden man was arrested and charged with burglary and theft for reportedly taking a bike from a garage in the 100 block of Windsor Ave. on June 21.

The victim called police at 11:14 p.m. to report a man had fled with his bike and was last seen going down Hopkins Avenue near Haddon Avenue. At 12:14 a.m. PATCO light rail line police detained a suspect, later identified as Duane Russell Moore of North 3rd Street in Camden.

The victim was taken to Ferry Avenue station by Haddonfield Police to identify Moore. Moore was taken to Camden County Jail afterward.

This is the same crook who stole my neighbor's tandem bike in June 2010. He was supposed to be in jail for a year. Looks like he is back, only on the other side of town. We never do enough to keep him out of town and my neighbor pressed charges! Time for a ankle bracelet to keep tabs on Russell as he takes PATCO every night to Haddonfield and walks through our back yards with no fear. He walked into my neighbors backyard even when he saw him sitting inside his home late at night.

Use my tax dollars to build more prisons (not turf fields) and keep these creeps off of the streets.
