All season, the Haddon Township High School wrestling team has proved it's one of the top squads in the Colonial Conference. Starting next week the Hawks will get to show the rest of Group 1 how talented they are.

The NJSIAA released the South Jersey Group 1 wrestling brackets on Wednesday, revealing Haddon Township as the No. 3 seed. The Hawks open their quest for a Group 1 title at home against No. 6 Woodstown (16-1).

The two teams met in the regular season with Haddon Township (17-5) recording a 41-28 victory. If Haddon Township is able to repeat its performance the Hawks will advance to face No. 2 Cinnaminson, which received a first-round by. Paulsboro also got a bye as a No. 1 seed, while Collingswood hosts Buena in the other quarterfinal.

Haddon Township will have a final regular season tune-up when it travels to take on Pennsauken, Saturday.

Haddonfield missed out on the Group 2 playoffs.
