The 13th annual Veterans Day event at Haddonfield Middle School on Tuesday was an opportunity for children to listen and talk to members of American Legion Post 38 to learn about the courage and sacrifice of their military service.

This was such a great idea. History books are a difficult way for any kid to learn about the kind of courage and sacrifice our veterans displayed. What better way to introduce them to these ideals than to talk to our veterans first hand and share in their experiences.
