Lily, the Lost Border Collie, Found!
An elderly woman lost the dog earlier this week.
A border collie that bolted out of the window of an elderly woman's car earlier this week was found and returned Thursday.
"Lily has been found!!!" said a note from Jennifer Genther, who posted an announcement on Haddonfield Patch on Wednesday. "Thank you to everyone who has kept an eye out and posted on here. A big thank you to the Haddonfield Patch and Bill Duhart. Most of all a huge thank you to Doggie & Kitty Style in Haddonfield and the wonderful person who took her there. It proves there are great people out there!"
Lily had last been seen in the vicinity of Groove and Hopkins streets.

Hats off to Bill Duhart and to the Haddonfield Patch for doing such an outstanding job raising awareness in the community. I spent quite a bit of time helping in the search and nearly every person I spoke to - residents, crossing guards, Police - already knew and were looking. The effort is a testament to what makes Haddonfield unique - and the Haddonfield Patch deserves much credit. Well done!
