The Haddonfield Civic Association is sponsoring a town meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. on the start of a neighbborhood watch.

Your editor Bill Duhart will be there at the Municipal Hall. But if you can't be there, follow the action on our Cover it Live feed on the site. Submit questions and Bill will try to get them answered.

Commissioner Ed Borden comments Brian Wolfson of the civic association for taking the lead in getting the meeting going. "What ever we can do in leveraging neighborhood efforts in this time of shrinking budget will be a tremendous help"

ED THE BUDGET ISN'T SHRINKING, YOU ARE SPENDING THE BUDGET ON THE WRONG THINGS. LIBRARY STUDIES, BANCROFT STUDIES, A NON-PRIVATIZED WATER AND SEWER UTILITY. C'MON, LET'S FIND CREATIVE SOLUTIONS VERSUS BLAMING THE SITUATION ON MONEY OR TRENTON!

Thanks Lt Wiley for the glib comment: "If get this up and running, take a bite out of crime; be a boost to my career," Wiley says to chuckles.
What you are missing is that this problem is indeed yours to tackle, and residents, familys, moms and dads are all impacted by this. So...instead of opening your mouth and inserting your foot, perhaps you could add something constructive to the conversation and make a positive impact??

Jeff why is the budget growing? Payroll expenses!! do some research and fight the real fight. Eliminate government pensions and cadillac plan heatlhcare costs.
Maryann - Spending on payroll and not investments is the problem. I hope you didn't vote for Obama. He inappropriately spends $1 trillion a year on a credit card

Anyone have any solutions?
