Stewart's boathouse once stood at the foot of Ellis Street between the Mt. Pisgah AME Church and the bridge leading into the Batesville section of Cherry Hill, according to Katherine M. Tassini of the Historical Society of Haddonfield.
"'Loading Hay' was taken about 1894 by the late Benjamin T. Wood in the field behind his family's home at 209 Kings Highway West,"according to "Lost Haddonfield" by Doug Rauschenberger and Katherine Mansfield Tassini. "The barns in the rear belong to the houses located along the west side of the first block of West End Avenue.  Many of these barns still exist today."
