Polls are open throughout Haddonfield until 8 p.m. tonight for a statewide primary election today.
With the Republican nomination for president wrapped up for former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and President Obama running unopposed, many other races have not drawn a lot of attention.
Races for U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, and county positions of sheriff, three freeholder seats and male and female members of Republican and Democratic county committee are being held.
One of the contested races is for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate. The candidates are Joe Kyrillos, of the Camden County Regular Republican Party, David Douglas Brown, of Republican Conservatism Jobs Jobs Jobs Incubation, Bader G. Qarmout, of Common Sense Republicans, and Joe "Rudy" Rullo, of Republican Party of Camden County.
Veteran U.S. Rep. Rob Andrews has a challenger in Francis X. Tenaglio from Striking Spark to Serve Our Republic in a Democratic primary. Jeffery Nash, Ian Leonard and Michelle Gentek from the Camden County Democratic Committee, Inc. have a challenger from Reform Camden County, Michael Leonetti in the Democratic primary for freeholder.

District 4: Middle School, Chestnut Street, Auditorium
District 5: Middle School, Chestnut Street, Auditorium
District 6: Elizabeth Haddon School, Redman Avenue
District 7: Elizabeth Haddon School, Redman Avenue
District 8: Lutheran Church, Wayne Avenue & Wood Lane
District 9: Lutheran Church, Wayne Avenue & Wood Lane
District 10: Tatem School, Glover Avenue, Music Room
