Shooter Sought in Lawnside Slaying
Stephon Cushion was shot multiple times, said prosecutors, who are asking for the public's help in finding the gunman.
Authorities are searching for the person who fatally shot a 32-year-old Camden man inside a Lawnside home early Saturday morning.
The victim, 32-year-old Stephon Cushion, was shot several times at his girlfriend's home on the 400 block of Company Street about 3:30 a.m., according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
Cushion's girlfriend, and another woman at the home, were not injured in the shooting. After shooting Cushion, the gunman fled, prosecutors said. It appears Cushion and the shooter knew each other, said Jason Laughlin, the prosecutor's spokesman.
