Two Thefts, a Burglary and an Arrest
Haddonfield police reported these incidents between Feb. 25 to March 8.
A leaf blower was reported stolen from a home in the 400 block of Euclid Ave. on March 10 at 6:45 p.m. The victim said it was laying on the ground beside the driveway when it was taken.
A handbag was taken from an unlocked car in the 800 block of N. Haddon Ave., according to a police report at 12:49 p.m. on March 4. The dark brown shoulder bag contained $20 cash, a drivers license, two ATM cards, a credit card and checks.
A burglary of a home in the unit block of W. Summit Ave. was reported at 4:29 p.m. on March 1. A window was unlocked and a screen was damaged. A pair of gold earrings, a silver cross necklace and $2 was reported missing.
A man was arrested on Feb. 25 at 10:35 p.m. after a car stop in the borough. The man, who was not immediately identified, was initially detained because of an outstanding traffic warrant. The man later confessed to taking ladders from a construction site in the 100 block of N. Hinchman Ave. on Jan. 16, police said. He was taken to Camden County Jail on a $5,000 full cash bail.
