More About First Baptist Church of Haddonfield
The church was founded in 1818. It was originally located at on Grove Street in an old school house. The next year it moved to the site of the old Baptist cemetery on Kings Highway, now across from Haddonfield Memorial High School. The present church building on Kings Highway and Tanner Street was completed in 1886. The congregation now numbers 300 and serves hundreds more each week for worship.
