Description provided by Millie Timar.

The meeting will take place at 7:00 PM at the Haddonfield Memorial High School in room C-8. Interested parents and students from Haddonfield are welcome to attend and learn more about this amazing program.

Haddonfield Japan Exchange is an organization which fosters international collaboration and unique experiences for students. The program sends students from Haddonfield to Japan and on alternating years receives students from Japan to experience life in America. Each exchange lasts about two weeks, and is dependent on the goodwill of families both in the US and Japan to host the students. These exchanges are life changing activities providing experiences that cannot be found in books or classrooms.

Families interested in their child visiting Japan or interested in hosting a Japanese student for two weeks during the summer of 2013 can have their questions answered at this meeting.

HJE is looking for businesses to sponsor activities for the Japanese students visiting next summer. We also have a few openings for parents that would like to serve on our committee.
