Haddon Twp Boys XC team posing with their Group 1 State Championship trophy at Holmdel Park this past Saturday.
The Hawks had 3 runners in the top 10 and placed 5 in the top 20. Their total team score was 51 and they easily beat runner up Wallkill Valley by 50 points. This is their 3rd in a row state XC title - 10th in school history. Junior Luke Petela led a terrific team effort and was the top Hawk finisher, placing 3rd overall. The team order of finish in the race was:1 Luke Petela (3rd), 2 Owen Long (5th), 3 Andrew Shaw (8th), 4 Luke Kessler (17th), 5 Joey Domanico (20th), 6 Chris Loper (49th), 7 Justin Shaw (65th).
