Elevator Coming to Westmont, Haddonfield PATCO Stations

More than half of PATCO's stations aren't handicapped accessible now.

Haddon Township and Haddonfield’s PATCO stations are due to get elevators to make them handicapped accessible (and possibly help out when there’s a lengthy escalator problem.)

PATCO is building elevators in the seven stations that don’t have them now, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The stations will have elevators by 2017, according to the newspaper.

The Westmont and Haddonfield PATCO stations, just like the nearby Collingswood stop, aren’t handicapped accessible now, with only an up escalator in addition to stairs.
