Fastnacht Celebration At Lutheran Church

Enjoy traditional German donuts as you learn about Fastnacht, a celebration which originated to prepare for Ash Wednesday and the 40 days of Lent. In order to use up the lard in their homes before Lent, German Lutherans made diamond-shaped donuts. To round out the evening, a trivia contest featuring Lutheran and biblical history will be featured.
