Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

1.    The Lions Club is hosting a Pasta Bowl this Sunday, March 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Christ the King School, 164 Hopkins Ave., Haddonfield. Bring the family and enjoy a delicious Sunday dinner by chef Valarie Costanza. Baked ziti, bowtie pasta alfredo, homemade meatballs, sweet and Italian sausage, chicken Caesar salad, snowflake rolls, and dessert will be served. Soft drinks will be provided and beer and wine will be sold. There will also be a basket auction with exciting prizes to be won.

* This is a Sunday Steal! Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Where else can you get a delicious home-cooked meal for $10 or under per person? The proceeds will benefit the Blind Fund of New Jersey.

2.    Running Company is hosting a Race for a cause! This Saturday, March 19 is the 6th annual Haddonfield Adrenaline race. The kids will be welcomed to race in front of the Haddonfield Memorial High School, 401 East Kings Highway, at 9:45 a.m. The fee for kids is $10. Call 856-428-1666 to register.

* This is a Saturday Splurge depending on how many kids you have entering in the race, but it is a priceless opportunity for them to get out and enjoy the fresh air and get some exercise!

3. All Fired Up—602 Haddon Ave., Collingswood—is hosting “Story Time” this week. They are reading All Carrots For Harry. They will paint your child's handprint onto a 6" tile and decorate it to look like a carrot. This will make a great trivet to use on Easter! The total cost is $11—there is no charge for a sitting fee for this class. Pre-registration is recommended. 856-833-1330. This session should last about an hour. Dates and times: Thursday, March 17 at 1 p.m. and Saturday, March 19 at 10 a.m.

* Saturday Splurge! Although, this event can get a little pricey if you have multiple children, you can have a keepsake for a lifetime.

4. Collingswood Public Library—771 Haddon Ave., Collingswood—is hosting a book sale this Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to noon. Bring the kids to pick out some awesome books at a discounted price, all while helping out the public library.

*Saturday Steal! You can’t beat the prices of these books and they are already worn in and ready for young reader to enjoy!

5. The Pop Shop—729 Haddon Ave., Collingswood—is hosting a Music Monkey Jungle Dance Party this Friday, March 18 from 9  to 11 a.m. Event includes a breakfast buffet for parents and kiddos, beverages, dessert and live entertainment by Miss Scherling of Music Monkey Jungle. Bring your toddlers and preschoolers to this rockin’ event.

*Frugal Friday event! Cost is $8 for children; $12 for kids plus tax and gratuity. Reservations required. Please call 856-869-0111 ext 5.
