This weekend we celebrate the birth of some of the most famous influential men of our great United States. In fact, they were so influential that most school districts decide that it is deserving of not only a day, but two days off from school. I can see the panic-stricken pandemonium of mothers everywhere! A four day weekend in February, but how do I keep my kids happy and busy for FOUR days? Here are the five things to keep the kiddies content this holiday weekend:

Garden State Discovery Museum2040 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill—is hosting a performance by the Universal African Drum and Dance Ensemble on Saturday, Feb. 19. February is not only the month in which we celebrate our presidents, but it's also Black History Month. Bring your children to the Discovery Museum for an entertaining cultural experience—which will only highlight all of the other fun exhibits they offer regularly. The museum opens at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, so if you're an early bird, head over to the museum then, enjoy lunch in the snack area and then end the day with the African drum and dance performance! The museum is open until 8:30 p.m. Saturday, so there's plenty of time to see the sights.

*This event is a Saturday splurge. Admission is $10.95 for adults and children over the age of 12 months; senior citizens $9.95. Although this event is a splurge, you are getting an educational experience that your children will remember for years to come.

Collingswood Community Theatre315 White Horse Pike, Collingswood—is performing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, at the Scottish Rite Auditorium. This is an opportunity to have some time out with your children and experience local theater at its best. Click for all show times and offers.

*This event is definitely a Saturday splurge, but well worth it! Quality community theatre is at its best at this wonderful production.

Lakeshore Learning Store2020 Marlton Pike West, Cherry Hill—is hosting its weekly Free Crafts for Kids activity on Saturday, Feb. 19. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., children will make their own "Presidential Briefcase" in honor of Presidents Day. View all the Free Crafts for Kids details here. This weekend, turn your Crafts for Kids Saturday into a critical learning moment with your children. Boost their knowledge with fun facts about our nation’s presidents. Kids will enjoy learning about whether George Washington had wooden teeth, or if Abraham Lincoln was the tallest president. Click here for more fun facts to help make your little patriotic prince or princess' weekend more festive.

*This event is a Saturday Steal! Not only will your child be socially engaged with other kids, but they will have a token to take home. And, of course FREE is always fabulous.

All Fired Up602 Haddon Ave., Collingswood—is offering Story Time this week. The featured story of the week will be Curious George's Snowy Day. After the kids hear about George’s adventures during his first snowfall—and the challenges he faces regularly as a monkey—kids will be invited to paint their very own monkey. Dates and times are as follows: Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m.; Thursday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m.; and Saturday, Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. Pre-registration is suggested, call 856-833-1330.

*This event is Saturday splurge! The cost is $11/child for the story time and the craft, but the bonus is that the sitting fee is waived for all story time participants.

Bounce U1205 Warren Ave., Cherry Hill—is the perfect place to tucker-out your toddlers and children this weekend. BounceU is offering Open Bounce on Friday, Feb. 18 during two separate sessions. Choose from either 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. All ages are welcome to bounce! BounceU's variety of bounce equipment enhances children’s gross motor skills, and affords them the opportunity to meet other moms and kids in the area. And BounceU's lunch session—which runs from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.—offers kids unlimited pizza and drinks for an additional $2.99 per person.

*This is a Frugal Friday event! It is $8.95 per child with special sibling discounts. Jump on over to Bounce U this Friday.
