Haddon Holiday Heart Run Postponed Over Weather Concerns

The race will be rescheduled, organizers said.

The potential for snow and ice overnight and into Saturday morning has forced the postponement of the 28th annual Haddon Holiday Heart Run 5K, race organizers announced.

Concerns over ice and snow already on the roads in Haddon Township and Haddonfield, where the race runs, and the potential for even slicker conditions by race time were too significant to hold the race as scheduled, organizers said.

“The safety of our volunteers, donors and staff is a priority for all American Heart Association-American Stroke Association events,” they said in a statement.
