American Legion Honors Boys and Girls State Grads

Haddonfield American Legion Post 38 honors local teens.

Haddonfield American Legion Post 38 is pleased to announce that 13 Class of 2014 students from Haddonfield Memorial High School and Haddon Heights High School recently graduated from the Jersey Girls State and Boys State programs.

The Boys State and Girls State Programs are important parts of the NJ American Legion’s “Youth Americanism Program” whose purpose is to develop good citizens by inspiring the youth of New Jersey to take a more active and intelligent interest in the operation of our state and nation and in the privileges and responsibilities of citizenship.

This has been a banner year for the Post 38 Girls State and the Boys State Programs. Post 38 has been one of the leaders in the state for sending candidates to these programs.
