Collingswood's 35th annual May Fair takes place Saturday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event spans more than 10 blocks of Haddon Ave with cars, crafts, music, food, games and more.

“It’s the capstone of all our events and really kicks off the summer,” Collingswood Mayor James Maley said. “Just when we think it can’t get any bigger more folks come out to join us. There’s really something for everyone.”

The fair encompasses almost one mile of Collingswood’s historic downtown including four stages of live music, exhibitors, pony rides, games, displays and more than 200 crafters.

The juried craft section features a variety of artwork including stained glass, jewelry, woodcrafts, pottery, mosaics, photography, painting, fabric crafts and furniture.

The May Fair includes an expansive antique and classic car show as well. he Delaware Valley Old Goat Club will participate, along with other clubs and classics that come vying to win top prizes and trophies.

Recent attendance to the yearly fair has climbed to 50,000 guests – almost quadruple the population of Collingswood all in the heart of its downtown in one day.

The event takes place thanks to the May Fair committee, Collingswood Partners, Inc., the Borough of Collingswood, presenting sponsor 1st Colonial Community Bank, corporate sponsor Chevrolet and dozens of other local sponsors.

The rain date for the May Fair is Sunday, May 25 from noon to 5 p.m.
