Camden County Songfest 2012

Do your children love to sing? Sign them up now for the ChildrenSong’s 11th annual Songfest Broadway Songfest, sponsored by ChildrenSong of New Jersey and the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission.

Join ChildrenSong of New Jersey for a day of music-making Broadway style! Students will be divided into two equal voice parts and will learn the following repertoire: My Favorite Things, Do-Re-Mi, 42nd Street, Castle on a Cloud, Give My Regards to Broadway, and a few surprises!

This all-day music and singing celebration is for area children in grades 4-10), with both changed and unchanged voices. Singers do not need to know how to read music to participate. We’ll teach them the basics of music reading and part singing in one fun-filled day of music making!

Students must bring their own lunch and let us know if there are any allergies, so we can ensure proper placement in the lunchroom. Participation in this program is strictly limited to 180 children. Student participation is only open to New Jersey students due to limited enrollment and high demand of our past workshops.

Teachers are invited to attend free with their students ($10 without students) for professional development credit.
