"In 1913, the Haddon Fortnightly created a swimming hole by constructing a dam across a stream running through Mountwell Woods," according to Cliff Brunker of the Historical Society of Haddonfield. "They did this with cobblestones that had been removed from Kings Highway after it was paved."

I was in that pool when I was 5 years old, I remember it was really cold. One of the wells for the water plant was used to fill it.
