Markeim Arts Center Exhibit Opening
Markeim displays works of art each month in an exhibition that features local artists with varying themes in its Haddonfield galleries.
The Markeim Arts Center will hold an opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at its gallery at 104 Walnut St., at the corner of Lincoln and Walnut.
The event features a contemporary juried show that includes artists who work with fiber and fabrics, according to a news release. The work will be mixed media techniques including collage, printmaking, painting, dyeing, stitching, and some traditional fiber techniques such as piecing, applique, reverse applique and more.
Wine, cheese and dessert will also be featured. Markeim artist receptions are complimentary to members and artists, and a suggested donation of $10 to guests.
