Lisa Walker Elected Trustee of Peirce College

Walker is a Haddonfield resident.

Philadelphia's Peirce College had announced the election of Haddonfield resident Lisa S. Walker to its Board of Trustees.

Walker is also Campbell Soup Company's vice president-open innovation on the global research and development team.

"Peirce provides a unique service for nontraditional students in the greater Philadelphia region, giving people an increased opportunity to advance their education and, therefore, their careers," she said. "I hope to help Peirce identify other innovative ways to provide additional programs and services for its students, as the college continues to expand its curriculum."

Walker was named one of Brandweek Magazine's Top 10 Marketers of the Year in 2008 and was recognized in Forbes Woman magazine. Most recently, she was named one of the Top 50 Women in Business in New Jersey for 2011 by NJBIZ magazine.

Walker earned her bachelor of science degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and her master's degree in marketing from the University of Chicago-Booth School of Business.

Walker, her husband Jason, daughter Audrey and son Andrew live in Haddonfield.
