Sun Bank Closing Brace Road Branch in July

Customers will be moved to other nearby branches, bank officials said.

Reported by Bryan Littel

Sun National Bank customers who use the Brace Road branch will have a few more miles to drive this summer.

The bank’s branch—the closest to Haddonfield's east side—is one of three slated to close in July, along with branches in Lawrenceville and Mystic Island, bank officials said.

“Sun made a business decision to dedicate the resources of those branches to other locations after analyzing customer markets and growth patterns in the state,” spokeswoman Heather Newcomb Hardwick said in a statement. “This will enhance our ability to streamline operations in the branch network and continue to provide excellent customer service.”

Customers at the Brace Road branch will be shifted to other nearby Sun banks, including those in Collingswood, Maple Shade and Marlton, Hardwick said.
