Haddonfield's Susanne LaFrankie Anchors Bloggers from Republican Convention

The former 6 ABC reporter will blog for a conservative news site and Haddonfield Patch during the convention next week.

Susanne LaFrankie is eager to tell Haddonfield and all of conservative New Jersey just what she's seeing and doing at the Republican National Convention in Tampa next week.

She'll be the lead blogger for Save Jersey, a conservative website, and for Haddonfield Patch. She wants to be the eyes and ears for locals who don't get a chance to attend the presidential nominating convention. She'll be there when presumptive nominee Mitt Romney formally gets the party presidential nomination and reintroduces his running mate Rep. Paul Ryan, a Wisconsin congressman. She'll also witness the keynote speech from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

"I bring a perspective as a mother and wife who cares about New Jersey and the future," said LaFrankie, who also is known by her married name of Susanne Principato. "People need to become fact finders. We can not become apathetic. We all have a role in to play in society."

LaFrankie became well known as a tough reporter at WPVI-TV Channel 6 in the '80s and '90s. She left broadcast journalism in 2000 to become a mother and wife. She is raising three children with her husband in Haddonfield.

LaFrankie also gained notoriety from whose dogs allegedly terrorized their upscale community. The feud was chronicled in the .

The Republican National Convention opens on Sunday and runs through Aug. 30. LaFrankie's blog will appear on Haddonfield Patch and on Save Jersey.

"People in Haddonfield are not unlike people from the rest of the country," LaFrankie said. "They need to know the facts so they can make informed decisions."
