Haddonfield Town Hall Meeting

The Haddonfield Civic Association holds its annual event with borough officials answering all questions.

From the Haddonfield Civic Association:

We invite you to attend the Annual Town Meeting, hosted by the Haddonfield Civic Association, on Thursday, OCTOBER 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Borough Hall Auditorium. Former mayor Jack Tarditi will moderate.

The format this year will be the same as 2011. Introductions will be made for the borough commissioners and attending Department heads. The meeting will be divided into two halves, first for general questions of all departments on any topic of interest. The second half will focus on the Bancroft acquisition including the purchase, the referendum as well as turf fields. Questions will be submitted on 3×5 cards and sorted for the moderator. EVERY QUESTION WILL BE READ. Multiple questions on the same topic will be grouped together.

The Annual Town Meeting is just one aspect of the HCA’s mission to “Inform, Promote and Organize Civic Discussion” in Haddonfield. The HCA also organizes single-issue town forums focused on current Haddonfield hot topics. The next one is on Nov. 13th on an exciting neighborhood watch initiative sponsored by the HCA and backed by our police chief. Lastly, it videotapes most commissioners’ and BOE meetings, as well as special meetings of interest such as this one, and posts them on the HCA website (www.haddonfieldcivic.com). All residents of Haddonfield can use this valuable and free resource to become informed about the important issues of the day.
