St. Agnes to Host 10th Annual Blue Mass

Police, fire and EMS personnel will be honored at the 10th annual service on Thursday.

Law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMS personnel will be honored at the 10th annual Camden Diocese Blue Mass at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, of Our Lady of Hope Parish, in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township Thursday.

Bishop Joseph Galante will oversee the 10:30 a.m. service, which will celebrate the work of public safety employees from the municipal to federal level in Camden, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, Atlantic and Cape May counties.

Members of the public are also invited to attend.

Msgr. Michael Mannion, director of community relations for diocese and the chaplain for the Gloucester Township Police Department, said he’s "grateful for the opportunity to honor those who dedicate their lives each day to the service and protection to our citizens and communities.”

All public safety employees are encouraged to wear their uniforms to the mass.
