Year in Review: Haddonfield Government News

Between Bancroft and urinating construction workers, it was quite a year for town government news in 2011.

We know how you should get your Haddonfield news (ahem, Haddonfield Patch), but this year borough commissioners spent much of 2011 going back and forth on who would provide newsletters about municipal happenings to residents.

The yearlong saga kicked off in January with the revelation that Haddonfield , Haddonfield Sun, for media services—an said one expert we talked to and a according to one commissioner. By July, the writing contract went to a , and What’s On Haddonfield got in the action with a plan to . Then Haddonfield Sun was back in the game, winning a , but that didn’t stop the Sun and What’s On.
