Back-To-School Survival Course

As summer winds down, the nights become cooler and September draws closer, you may start to have those back-to-school jitters. Some of you may even dread returning to the social pressures, academic stress and piles of work that await you. Instead of fretting, why not learn some tips to help you deal with these impending challenges and use them to help you grow stronger, wiser and more self-confident than you ever dreamed possible?

Tracy Farquhar is a Certified Trainer of the Infinite Possibilities program, developed by best-selling author, world-renowned motivational speaker and star of The Secret Mike Dooley. The principals of Infinite Possibilities, specifically how our Thoughts Become Things, inform this program developed just for pre-teen and teenage students.

Fifteen-year-old Gemma Farquhar is a graduate of the Infinite Possibilities course. She is entering Collingswood High School this year as a Sophomore, and is an aspiring singer, actor and motivational speaker. Her goal is to use her experiences with the challenges of school to help others find their strength, individuality and voice.

In this program, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your feelings about school in a safe and neutral environment. You’ll practice visualizing the way you’d like things to be and you’ll discuss healthy and empowering ways to deal with social pressures. We’ll talk about academic stress and how to use visualization and positive thinking to raise your self-esteem and your performance, just like professional athletes do. You’ll be provided with some snacks for the break and fun giveaways throughout.

Parents are also encouraged to attend!

This program is being offered free, but a $5 or $10 donation is requested to help cover costs.  Please email Tracy at spiritlight@outlook.com to register.
