Deborah's 3rd Annual Walk-a-Thon and 5K Run

Gather your friends, kids, and co-workers and come out for a fun-filled walk on Saturday, September 21 at 9:30 a.m. when the Deborah Hospital Foundation kicks off its 3rd Annual Walk-a-Thon to benefit Deborah Heart and Lung Center, a specialty hospital that in 91 years has never billed a patient. This year Deborah's 2.5 mile Walk-a-Thon has a new location -- scenic Freedom Park in Medford -- and a new companion event, a 5K Run through the center of downtown Medford Township, sure to please all the area runners. Race start is 9:00 a.m. on Union Street. Pre-registration for both the walk and run is $20. Registration the day-of-the-event is $25. All those pre-registered by September 6th will receive a complimentary t-shirt. All participants will receive a gift bag and post-race/walk refreshments. Medals will be awarded in the 5K run.
