The Junior Women’s Club of the Haddon Fortnightly will host its Annual Fundraising Gala and Silent Auction on Saturday, February 23rd from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. In celebration of the 300th Anniversary of Haddonfield, this year’s Gala will be held at the Haddon Fortnightly and will focus on showcasing tastes of local restaurants in Haddonfield, Haddon Heights, Haddon Township and many more all along Haddon Avenue.
Tickets are $50 per person and include a selection of local cuisine, open bar beer and wine, and live entertainment. More information and tickets available at haddonjrs.org/programs-and-events
All proceeds are donated to local and regional charities. Recent beneficiaries of the club’s work include: the Covenant House, a shelter for homeless youth; the Valerie Fund, an organization supporting health care costs for kids with cancer; local food pantries, and many more right here in Camden county.
Calling all former Juniors! In addition to celebrating the legacy of Elizabeth Haddon, this year’s Gala will celebrate the legacy of the women who have supported the Junior Women’s Club of the Haddon Fortnightly. If you are a former member or friend of the JWC, please join us for this very special event. We also want your stories, comments and pictures! Please email us at email@example.com with your pictures from past JWC events, stories and quotes about your JWC experience and what the club means to you. These photos and comments will be part of the evening’s presentation.
