Haddonfield Celebrates MLK Day with Candlelight Procession, Program
Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Haddonfield remembers the "Dream."
The borough Human Relations Commission will sponsor a candlelight observance on the steps of the Municipal Hall 7 p.m. Monday to commemorate the Martin Luther King Jr. national holiday.
After a brief observance, Mayor Jeff Kasko and other officials will lead a procession to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church at Lincoln and Douglas avenues, where a program will include essays from borough students on the topic of "What is your dream for Haddonfield?”
The program will also include the Haddonfield Memorial High School choir.
