Mary L. Ambrose, Avid Bowler and Phillies Fan, Dies at 93

Services will be Friday.

Mary L. Ambrose(nee Sisti), 93, a former longtime Haddonfield resident, died Monday at The Fountains at Cedar Parke in the Atco, section of Waterford.

Wife of the late Thomas Ambrose.  Loving mother of Linda M. Egan (Joseph) of Marlton, NJ and Thomas J. Ambrose (Debbie) of Stratford, NJ,  Beloved grandmother of Heather Fusco (Leonard), Christopher Egan (Kirstyn), Jennifer Gasparine (John), Tom Ambrose (Leyna) and Michael Ambrose.  Great-grandmother of Emily, Ashley, Katelyn, Leo, Chase and Sienna.  Dear sister of Edmira Sisti of Williamstown, NJ.

Mrs. Ambrose was born in Paterson, NJ.  She was a longtime member of Christ the King Church in Haddonfield. Additionally, she was an avid bowler and Phillies Fan who enjoyed cooking Italian meals for her friends and family.

Mrs. Ambrose’s family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m.

Interment, New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. Memorial Donations may be made in Mrs. Ambrose’s name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
