Audubon Park Man Arrested for Copper Theft 2 Days After Making Bail for the Same Charge

The man had teamed with another man who was charged over consecutive weeks, including stealing copper downspouts from Grace Church.

An Audubon Park man was charged in Haddonfield Thursday with stealing copper downspouts two days after he was pinched here for the exact same charge.

Michadl Dolan was charged with criminal mischief and theft after police found him sitting on a "large trash type container that was full of crushed copper downspouts" in the 100 block of Avondale Ave. at 2:42 p.m.

Another neighbor told Haddonfield Patch that Dolan had been spotted "hours after he made bail" on Tuesday allegedly pulling copper downspouts off of a home in the 100 block of Washington Ave. The witness said he may have been with Patrick Duross-Malloy, a homeless Camden man who was charged earlier this week and last with stealing copper, including a heist at Grace Church here.

Dolan confessed to removing downspouts from a near-by residence and from two other houses in the area the previous day, police said.

This time, he was held at the Camden County jail on a $22,500, full-cash bail.
