Camden Man Admits Guilt in Series of Farnham Park Rapes

Kevin Cleveland admits he raped three girls, including two teenagers, in the park in January and February of 2012.

A Camden man charged in three rapes, including two against teenage victims, and an armed robbery pleaded guilty, Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk announced Tuesday afternoon.

Kevin Cleveland, 30, pleaded guilty to three counts of first degree kidnapping, three counts of first degree aggravated sexual assault, second degree robbery and second degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

He admitted to committing three rapes in Farnham Park in January and February of 2012.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 11.

He is expected to be sentenced to a term of 28 years incarceration, 85 percent of which he must serve before becoming eligible for parole. He will also have his name added to the state’s Megan’s Law list of sex offenders, will have parole supervision for life and may be subject to civil commitment after his prison term ends if he is found to be a sexually violent predator.

In court on Tuesday, Cleveland admitted his guilt in the following incidents:
