Haddonfield Police: Attempted Luring on Centre Street

Juvenile escapes unharmed.

The Haddonfield police reported an attempted luring of a juvenile by an adult male Tuesday night on Centre Street.

The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. near the intersection of Centre Street and Lincoln Avenue. The child fled, unharmed. The father of the child reported the incident to police.

The father said his child saw the man hop out of a black SUV and walk toward a house. The suspect then turned and approached the juvenile on the sidewalk in a way in which the child felt threatened. The child fled home.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 30 years old, wearing a dark baseball cap, dark shirt, dark jeans and with a thin built; driving a four-door, black SUV with a roof rack.
