The Jersey Java & Tea shop reported the theft of a large, glass canister filled with biscotti from its front counter on Friday, July 29.
The airy cafe and comfy lounge is a midday oasis for many locals.
Co-owner Mary Burke said they are all aghast.
"It's unbelievable, isn't it?" she asked.
Police have reported no arrests.
