The crimes as they are reported

The Haddonfield police reports listed 10 crimes in the period between Feb. 4 to Feb. 15, six of which were redacted to show no information.

A police official said information was redacted from the reports because of the nature of the crime, including domestic disputes or sexual assaults. He did not immediately distinguish how many of either crime was included in the redacted material.

One domestic dispute that did include information was reported on Feb. 5, at 10:25 p.m. in the 100 block of Centre Street. A juvenile attacked an adult family member with a bottle. The youth was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

The victim of the attack was transported to the hospital, but police did not immediately report which hospital or the victim’s condition. A total of eight people were listed on the complaint.

Thirteen-thousand dollars in jewelry was reported stolen from a residence in the 700 block of Mount Vernon Avenue on Feb. 11 at 8:11 p.m. The victim believes a platinum, 1-karat, diamond ring and two platinum wedding bands were stolen from her home on Feb. 2 during a real estate showing. The home is up for sale. The crime was reported on Feb. 11. No arrests have been reported.

A 52-year-old Washington Township man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and two other offenses at 10:56 p.m. on Feb. 10 on Grove Street at Glover Avenue. Gary Paul Dijosie, of Paddock Court in the Sewell section of the township, was also charged with speeding and careless driving and his 2009, four-door Honda was impounded and towed by Cioffi’s Towing Co. He was later released pending a municipal court date.
