Haddonfield Police filed the following incident reports for July 8-11.

7/11/11 – Theft from Auto

11:30 p.m.

Sometime between 11:30 p.m. July 11 and 8:45 a.m. July 12, $5 in loose change was stolen from the center console of a gray, 2007 Toyota Sequoia in the 400 block of Mansfield Avenue. The car was parked in the victim’s driveway; the victim was unsure whether the vehicle had been secured at the time of the theft. Police discovered no signs of forced entry at the scene.

7/11/11 – Violation of Borough Ordinance

3:16 p.m.

Two young males were reported chasing a rabbit with an Airsoft pellet handgun in the 400 block of Linden Avenue. They fired at the ground and then fled the scene on a yellow motorized minibike. The caller reporting the incident noticed the offenders on a neighbor’s front lawn: one was wearing a white shirt, and the other had a black shirt with the number four on the back. Upon investigation, police discovered a dead rabbit and multiple Airsoft pellets on the ground. The animal did not appear to have been shot.

7/9/11 – Criminal Mischief

6 p.m.

An unknown person snapped multiple branches on a Japanese lilac in the front yard of a property in the unit block of Linden Avenue sometime between 6 p.m. July 9 and 6 a.m. July 10. The lilac is a borough tree located on the park strip.

7/8/11 – Theft

10 a.m.

A $700 laptop was stolen from an office in the 200 block of Kings Highway East between 10 a.m. July 8 and 12 noon July 9. The office was alarmed at the time of the theft. Police investigation into the case is ongoing.
