Imagine awaking from a mid-afternoon nap to find a burglar in your bedroom.
A resident in the 600 block of Farragut Ave. didn't have to imagine. He experienced it firsthand.
Police said he awakened from a nap shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, and saw a man in his bedroom, who then fled with his wife's jewelry box, filled with rings, necklaces and earrings.
The suspect escaped. He is described as a thin-built, white male in his 20s, about 5-foot-8. It was not immediately reported how he gained entry to the house.
