Jeans Bandits Strike Nordstrom, Police Say

Three men struck the department store earlier this month, police said.

Three men grabbed thousands in jeans at the Cherry Hill Mall and took off running earlier this month, and Cherry Hill Police are asking for the public's help in trying to identify them.

The unidentified men, shown in store surveillance photos wearing black jackets and hats, walked into Nordstrom on Jan. 15 around 9 p.m., grabbed about $2,268 worth of jeans and ran from the store, police said.

They jumped into a waiting dark-colored Chevrolet Impala with New York tags and took off from the mall, police said.

It's not the first time clothing thieves have struck in such a manner—police arrested three Pennsylvania residents who they say stole about $20,000 in Burberry clothing in November 2012 as part of heists at several Nordstroms in the region.
