Jewelry Thieves Hit Haddon Twp.

Daytime burglaries at two Haddon Township homes resulting in several thousand dollars of jewelry stolen, police report.

A "large amount of jewelry" was reported stolen from a home in the 200 block of Norwood Ave. in Haddon Township on Monday.

Police believe someone cut a screen and climbed through an unlocked window to enter the home. Officials say a four-door, red vehicle with two men in it was seen in the area during the weekday-morning burglary.

"Several-thousand-dollars" worth of jewelry was also reported stolen Monday from a home in the 1100 block of Mansion Ave., police said. The master bedroom was targeted.

No forced entry was immediately reported. Officials say the incident happened between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
