Philly Police Arrest Suspect in Vicious PATCO Assault and Robbery

An initial news report said the man was from Haddonfield.

Philadelphia police arrested a suspect Friday wanted for a vicious assault and robbery of a 22-year-old Haddon Township man at a Philadelphia PATCO station on Jan. 2, according to a spokesman for the Delaware River Port Authority. One assailant remains at large.

The DRPA operates PATCO. An initial news report said the victim was from Haddonfield.

The assault occurred at 2:30 a.m. at the 8th and Market Station and was captured on surveillance video and by witnesses with cellphone cameras. The victim, who was punched and kicked multiple times by two men, was treated and released from Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia after the attack.
