Oaklyn Man Charged with Theft, Credit Card Fraud

Police arrest Zachary Butler for crimes allegedly committed in mid-May.

Oaklyn police said a borough man admitted to a crime spree that included burglarizing a car, theft and stealing a credit card. 

Officers arrested Zachary A. Butler, 23, of Oaklyn, on May 17, according to a release from the department. Butler admitted to police that he committed the crimes in the early morning hours on May 16, authorities said.

Butler was charged and released pending a May 24 court date.

Oaklyn police remind the public to lock car doors and keep valuables out of sight—or better yet, remove them from cars.
