Reward Offered for Information in Former Collingswood Resident's Death

Paul Johnson, 65, was killed in a fire in Camden. Authorities said the cause was arson.

The Citizens' Crime Commission of Philadelphia is offering a $1,000 reward for information relating to an that killed a former Collingswood resident. 

Paul Johnson, 65, died of smoke inhalation from a fire that started early Friday at an abandoned home in the 1200 block of Decatur Street in Camden, authorities said. 

Johnson had prior addresses in Collingswood and Oaklyn, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. He apparently had been living in the abandoned home, authorities said.

The Citizen's Crime Commission is offering the reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for starting the blaze. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Commission Tipline at 215-546-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous.
