Woman Who Attacked Woman in Front of Toddler in South Jersey Surrenders

Latia Harris surrendered to local police Monday night, according to nj.com.

Almost one week after she was caught on tape beating a mother near a McDonald’s restaurant, Latia Harris has surrendered to police, nj.com reports.

Harris, 25, of Salem, surrendered to local police around 7 p.m. Monday night, according to police.

Catherine Ferreira was attacked while on her way home with her 2-year-old son last week. A group of onlookers were witness to the assault, and one person shot video of the incident, but none intervened until the toddler attempted to break up the fight.

She’s being held on $35,000 bail on charges of aggravated assault and making terroristic threats, according to the Courier Post.
